以下資料適用於比例正常的圓形明亮式鑽石，用作珠寶設計、選石及估算石重的參考。 卡重是重量，毫米是外觀尺寸；實際重量會因切工比例、深度及腰圍厚度而有所不同。

The following figures are approximate references for well-proportioned round brilliant diamonds. Carat measures weight, while millimetres measure face-up size. Actual weight may vary according to cut proportions, depth and girdle thickness.

估算公式 / Estimation Formula

如已知圓鑽的平均直徑及深度，可使用以下公式估算重量：
估計卡重 ＝ 平均直徑² × 深度 × 0.0061

If the average diameter and depth are known, the approximate weight of a round brilliant diamond can be estimated as:
Estimated carat weight = Average diameter² × Depth × 0.0061
